I would recommend getting a place here, but early in October and November for a good spot! It is clean, and right on Thayer St. You cannot get better than that.

257 has not been forth coming about the reletting process during the Covid pandemic. I had a relet, and they required 3 months rent up front, which is unheard of. First and last months rent is standard. Furthermore, I got an email saying my lease for next year officially went through in the midst of the pandemic - this is the lease that I was pressured into signing much earlier in the year. Had I known the lease hadn't gone through I would have tried to void it, because of how much money I am loosing through not being able to re-let the apartment. 257 has not been upfront about the reletting process and have shown little flexibility and humanity during the pandemic. I understand now why most people go behind 257's back to sublet their rooms. It is borderline in humane to require 3 months rent up front for a 5 month relet during an emergency in a global pandemic. And then on top of that, to push through a lease months after it was signed during a pandemic. I have been tryin to relet my apartment again, and neither me or my re-letter have been able to reach 257 in a timely manner. I have been left completely in the dark during the process and have no idea if I will be loosing another $1,000 next month due to a re-letting failure again. 257 was great before the pandemic but I have been extremely disappointed at 257's response during Covid-19 and their poor communication. For this reason I would not recommend 257 to a friend.

I am excited to live in this building. It is clean and safe and gets great reviews. The location is great too--very central to everything I need as a student.

It’s expensive but great location and amenities. Sometimes the WiFi is spotty but our front desk is generous and patient. Plus our apartment is spacious

I really love my room and the staff here is great. I'd still prefer there to be better policy clearly stated for those who are allowed to have pets but otherwise this has been a great place to live!
