Apartment facilities are generally speaking nice. However, staff and management are not very friendly. Hugh turnover, very abrupt, no smiles or even a hello when you walk past.

Need a shipment alert system for notifying residents they have a package. Additional parking would be nice. Maintenance is really good as well as the cleanliness.

The front desk/leasing office employees seem laughably incompetent. I don't understand how there can be so few employees for a complex so large?

Overall it's been decent, It's very expensive and although I'm ok with that, I would expect to be able to pay my rent online but there are always issues with that.

The elevator is constantly broken. Many residents place out trash for valet trash that is not packaged correctly and does not get picked up for a few days. Halls often stink.

The building is generally clean and that staff are generally helpful with a few exceptions. The lifts are horribly slow and the gym is poorly maintained. Of the three ellipticals, only two are working, one of which has a tv which itself does not work. Of the four treadmills, one has a working tv which goes fuzzy as soon as you start running. Towels and water may or more likely may not be there.

The thing about the Westheimer is that the location is so great. 10 minute walk from the great spots of Montrose or upper Kirby/river oaks. Maintenance is pretty quick here. The community folks are mostly nice, with some exceptions of staff. Everything is quite new and functions properly and there are nice balconies and courtyards. Free fitness classes. Community events. We also got all of this at a good rate. HOWEVER I would not live here again. The elevators are incredibly slow, when they are working which was probably 2/3 of the time I lived here. The business center is not 24 hours. Half the time my fob stopped working for no reason. No reward for staying longer as a resident. It was just a mess and quite stressful at times. Do not recommend unless you are fine with many delays and a busy outside street as well.

I have lived on the property for almost 3 years. I live the location. My biggest complaint in the elevators. At least once. Week one of them is not working and they are extremely slow!

Great maintenance staff. Otherwise, eh. Keep the elevator up and running! Fix the occasional garbage stink in three hall. Faster response of the roof leading into the light fixture would have been nice.

The staff is wonderful. Still waiting on a new dryer, there’s sewage smell in my Mbath, and water turns off when trying to heat it up in shower.

Been here for about a month and it feels like there's something wrong with the apartment every day, but management is always willing to help. Natalie is super amazing and will do everything in her power to make it a great place to live.

Everything has been great so far! My only complaint is that the hallway on the 3rd floor by the freight elevator is often messy (ie, left trash, pet messes, bugs etc). Problem is usually remedied in the a few days.

The office staff doesn't seem concerned for the residents or really engage with them when they are around. They are also not very understanding or willing to assist if it's something that would require thinking outside the box or putting in extra effort.

The elevators are slow or broken, gym needs to be improved. Carpets on floors are dirty. Staff is pretty nice- Bennt and Olga. Compared to other properties it's just ok.

It has been good. However since moving to a new apartment we have had a roach issue that is yet to be resolved. We definitely love the maintenance people they are nice and very hard workers

My experience a The Westheimer has been ok. The staff has been really nice especially Benny. He is always super helpful and friendly. Otherwise I hated the dog park. It was always disgusting. And the hallways would sometimes small like garbage.

I've lived here for a little over two months now. The location is just perfect; walking distance to restaurants, fast food joints, coffee shops and grocery stores. In general the corridors and common areas are kept clean. Neighbors are friendly and quite. The parking garage is spacious. On the other hand the community can be somehow unsafe, because the gates always break down! The gym is good, but missing some basic equipment (e.g chest bench)! Clubroom and social longe are amazing but their hours are totally inconvenient. Finally the elevators are slow and very frequently not in service because of residents moving in/out! Overall its a convientient place to live in, nice and friendly staff; if only those issues are addressed it will be a one of the best apartments around.

Overall, I've had a pretty positive experience living at The Westheimer. Maintenance has been super responsive when I've needed them. Biggest negative is at least one of the elevators seems to go down every month.

Building is generally clean and well kept - great location. Inconvenient office hours however... Overall it seems to be improving with better overall communication and added fitness classes, but there could be more... and there aren't many community perks/discounts like in other buildings.

I like the location and the price. Some issues have been with the elevators constantly needed repair. The individual floors could be kept up nicer. Some of the staff are not very nice.

Satisfied overall. Quiet community in a good location with plenty of food and activities around. The couple of times I have had maintenance requests they were resolved the same day.
